Windows 7 Troubleshooting Creative Alchemy: SB X-FI Extreme Gamer Not Detecting Audio Device

Testing out some games, I remembered that Vista (and I assume Win7) won't enable EAX. So, the workaround was to use Creative Alchemy. When I run it, it says the audio device is not detected. I initially did this with the default Win 7 audio drivers then tried the latest Vista drivers for the SB X-FI Extreme gamer. Still no go.

Any other gamers get this to work?

I am running Creative ALchemy (X-Fi Edition) v1.20.0 without problems here. I have installed the Vista X-Fi sound card drivers though.
