Windows Vista Troubleshooting Multimedia Device Recognition Issues with AMD and X-Fi on Windows Vista

My multimedia device is unrecognized. I have a n AMD 6000+ X2 with 8800 GTS 640 MB, X-FI gamer card, Windows Vista ultimate. I installed drivers. I have a rating of 1.0 with my graphics because of this. I don't have any access to Windows Aero or cannot launch any programs cause it crashes and goes to a blue screen error. I have Asus motherboard. How did I install my motherboard drivers. People say the problem is with the X-FI card and vista, has anyone else had similar problems?

I'm sure you've posted before with this problem. If you have all the latest drivers for your hardware, have you tried updating the bios?

The problem is once again fixed kemical. I understand what the problem is now and wont encounter any more future problems in this field. I thank u for ur help tho and congratulate you on the help you give to others. Keep up the good work kemical.
