I am still having a problem with my network setup. I am unable to see of ping ip or computer name from my windows 7 desktop to my windows 7 laptop. Laptop is on wireless. When connected wired everything works perfectly. I restored my laptop back to factory last night and started over enabling file sharing and workgroups. I do not care to use homegroups. It should be simple enough to use without them. I have researched and researched for countless hours and have yet to find a legitimate solution. I had it at one time set up where I could connect to laptop by IP Address but now I am unable to for some odd reason. I have checked services, policies (except laptop is running home premium so it doesnt have local policy editor), and pretty much everything else. Here is my cmd file for ip config.......
