Hi, trying to understand how MS does this.
So on the win10 changelog:
Windows 10 version history - Wikipedia
You see 1607 came out, then 1704 afterwards, which seems to include a bunch of updates that were released to "fast ring" beta testers beforehand, (1) is that right? i.e. When 1704 came out initially, did it already include all of the listed updates (10.0.14901 -> 10.0.15007) included?
(2) Are all those version updates associated with a particular KB windows update?
(3) And if so, then if you're on version 1607 (build 10.0.14393) and you installed every update, would that be equivalent to just installing 1704?
Also where, from within windows, do you even find out which "1607" "1704" version you're on? I can only find the build number from the "ver" command.
