I am unable to get Win 7 64 running stably on a relatively new, high end Intel Core 2 notebook with generic parts although it is supposed to run on this hardware. Device manager shows 2 unidentified devices although all the chipset and other drivers are installed, at least a combination of drivers from the RC disc and Vista 64 drivers. Since Win 7 RC has installed well for me on a mixed bag of desktops using the same combination of driver types, both AMD and Intel systems, Presumably the final version will not stumble over common parts like this. In the mean time is there any way to identify what those devices are?

" In the mean time is there any way to identify what those devices are? "

Maybe. Where are they listed in the Device Manager? A screenshot might help.
