Windows 7 Update error 80072efe after fresh w7 install

Hi, Im new here. A user of Inspiron1420.

I found prob that i cant update my windows update. internet connections are as usual though.

both show error code 80072efe. i tried using tdsskiller but no threat is found. i also tried scanning with malwarebyte' s anti- malware, no thread is found.

using: windows 7 professional msdn.

it's a fresh install of w7 as i jus formatted my lappy.

I already posted a topic in the Dell COmmunity Malware Removal System, Link Removed due to 404 Error.

kevinf80, the one who helped me with the issue, mentioned that, after all the checks, it may even be a hardware issue, memory or HD and suggested me to post a topic here.

Anyone can help me with it?

If you look at the Control Panel-Troubleshooting, there is a process for Windows Update. Have you been through that and did it tell you anything?
