I bought the upgrade Windows 7 Professional and did a custom install over my 32bit windows XP. The instalation/upgrade was perfectly successful. No problems there. I just have a question about the file called WindowsOld that was created when I did the custom instalation. It contains all the old files from XP (none of which I need) and its taking up a lot of space on my hard drive. May I delete this file without messing up windows 7, or are these old windows files necessary to run windows 7? I'd like to get rid of it and I'm afrade of messing things up. Advice please?

They are not part of Windows 7. Only there for your reference to previous data you may have had in your older OS. If you have trouble deleteing them, use the built in "Disk Cleanup" program in Start.
