So now my usb host drivers will not load the error message says the drivers are missing or corrupt. code 39.

I love windows 7 so far but now have lost all of my USB support be my dell e6400. I can live with out it sort of. but would really like to get them working again because this worked better then vista did which is nice.

thanks for all the help in advance.

Someone was having this problem with XP...it might apply to your problem.

OK after wasting an entire day on this stupid stuff, I've finally found a solution and i registered just for this posting(So you don't have to go through the same)

run regedit.

goto:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056- 444553540000

Delete:UpperFilter,LowerFilter

disable and enable your devices from device manager.
