Windows 7 video card in 'remove hardware' manager

anyone know how to remove my video card from the safely remove hardware manager? also does anyone know how to stop start menu notificaton of new programs? i cant find that option anywhere.....

Do you want to turn off the highlighting of newly installed programs ?

Step 1. Right click the Taskbar or right click the Start button from the bottom left hand side of the screen -> select Properties.
Alternatively you can just click an empty space in the Start menu, then select Properties.

Step 2. In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window click the Start menu tab.

Step 3. Click Customize.

Step 4. In the Customize Start Menu window that pops up click the Advanced tab.

Step 5. Uncheck the box next to Highlight newly installed programs.

Step 6. Click OK to close the Customize Start Menu window -> click OK to close the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

I am not familiar with Safely Remove Hardware if this is what you are talking about. Did you try their support forum ?

The safely remove hardware manager probably works with the storage devices only.
