Windows Vista vista system restore

Hi, I bought a computer that came with vista but no install cd and didnt make a recovery cd of any sort. All I have to do with vista is the product key, is it possible to restore my computer to the way it was when i bought it without the install/recovery cd? If so, I would appreciate it if someone would help me out by giving me a guide or a walkthrough of some sort =) thanks!

Thanks for trying to help, but that didn't do what I wanted, I'm trying to reset my computer so that everything will be wiped off it back to the way it was when i first bought it. can anyone else help me out?

what im trying to look for is a way to use 'windows vista home premium cd' without buying it because i have the product key but not the cd.
