I have Vista Home SP1.
I cannot realize how to make all subfolders and files in folders to look in LIST Mode forever all the time and any time I open any folder ( it's in VIEW drop down men - List).
Hope somebody could tell me. Thnks in advance

You need to go into folder options. This should be in the control panel. Make sure to check the boxes for simpler folder view. Then click to apply to all files and folders.

It would be too easy. It works in Windows XP but doesn't apply to Windows Vista. That's the problem.
I wen to few Windows Vista forums but nobody could give an straight answer.
It looks like nobody knows.

You need to open a folder say documents for example then click view and then list. Once you've done that click organise and folder options (whilst keeping the folder open).
Click the View tab, and then click Apply to Folders. You'll see a dialogue box appear asking you if you want to change all folders to the current view, click yes.(To switch these folders back to their default settings, click Reset Folders.)
Now all the folders within the documents folder will open with that view. You may have to go through the same process for your music folder (not sure about the picture folder) but once it's done thats the way it'll stay..
