for a permanent fix i installed nvidia drivers for kali linux
here comes the problem when i installed nvidia drivers for linux my windows started showing me srt trail error ..
i got that srttrail error and then after i did a chkdsk command in windows through recovery command mode ,i now get a black screen
all i get when booting up windows is a black screen now ..
my linux is working perfect
but my windows is not working
need help
thanks in advance !!!!
and also my windows is win 10 and linux version is kali linux 2020.1

Solution
Disable Fast boot and Secure boot from the BIOS.
Apart from that remove that registry fix that you did.
If you do that, you would be able to boot into Windows but that would stop you from booting into Linux.

With the latest released versions of Windows, it is almost impossible to use Linux alongside it.
Better jump onto one of the ships.
You cannot be on both of the ships all the time.
