I have 4 SATA HDD in my Windows 7 x64 desktop.
2 configured as RAID 0 on which the OS live (C)
2 non raid disk members (D-M)
What would happen to the bootmgr on C if I installed a second instance of the same OS on a non raid partition, say M? Does it get re-written and countinues to live on C or another one is created and placed elsewhere?
Thanks

It will use an active partition on the primary drive, in your case probably the one you have now. I cannot remember if there is a limit on how many drives/partitions the actual install can be displaced, but it should work.
As always, be very careful when you pick the partition for the install and don't get the wrong one..
