Windows 8 When looking for a new laptop, you might want to look into just what is in it.

I am not complaining but, I did find out something about a new laptop I bought at the end of 2012. I have upped my fios speed from 35megabits download, to 50, and finally 75megabits download speed. I found one day the computers wireless speed when looking at the wireless adaptor under networking setting's, never exceeded 65megabits. This made me curious. So, I talked with Sony and had them do some warranty work on it. The internal wireless will never do better than 55 to say 60 megabits but, I can use a usb wireless adaptor which will give me up to 130 megabits. Which is ok by me. Though I wish I had known at the time of purchase, that not all wireless n cards are capable of the fastest wireless n speed possible.
Does anyone know if there are any usb 3 wireless n adaptors available yet, and where they might be purchased? Thanks.

Hi

It's been my experience that no matter how fast your internet connections laptops don't do much over 60Mbs.
I have 100Mbps service, my wifes new Asus laptop gets 64.

My friend has 1 Gbs service, his wife gets 64 on her 2014 laptop.

I don't think they are built to do more than that, if I plug a network cable my wife's laptop it gets 100Mbps.

Check this out they claim that it gets speeds up to 300 Mbs.
