There is single drive in my laptop i.e. C drive and suppose I shrinked that drive through disk management and made two partaion (C drive and D drive)

Now, if i have to format the C drive to install new windows , will the D drive remains or it will also be deleted?

Solution
Drive D will remain as it is...all your files in Drive D: will not be affected or deleted by formatting Drive C: just don't delete the partition of Drive C: and the one you have shrinked which is Drive D:. :D
