HI
1Questions wonders: that is, the question is why when Windows 10 Task Manager when you look at the RAM memory speeds so far it will appear 1200Mhz even though SHAREit Appvn the memory speed is 2400Mhz. However, in bios, everything is displayed correctly, in terms of volume and speed. Memory is 8Gt DDR4 2400Mhz. reinstalling fixed the situation but after a while the situation came back: - /

If Task Manager in Windows 10 is displaying the memory speed incorrectly, it might be due to several reasons. Here are some steps to address this issue: 1. Update BIOS and System Drivers: - Ensure that your BIOS and system drivers, especially the chipset drivers, are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause inaccuracies in system information. 2. Check Memory Information: - Verify the memory information in the BIOS or using a reliable third-party tool to cross-verify the speed and other memory details. 3. Hardware Issue: - Check for any potential hardware issues, like faulty RAM slots or incompatible memory configurations, that could lead to incorrect memory speed readings. 4. System Integrity Check: - Run a system file checker scan to check for and repair any corrupted or missing system files that might impact performance monitoring tools like Task Manager. 5. Memory Profiles: - In some cases, enabling XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) in the BIOS might help Task Manager recognize the memory speed correctly. 6. Task Manager Refresh: - Press
Ctrl + Shift + Esc
to open Task Manager. - Right-click on any column header and choose "Refresh" to reload the data in Task Manager. This may sometimes resolve display issues. 7. Reset Task Manager: - In Task Manager, under the "View" menu, select "Update speed" and choose a higher setting, such as "High" to see real-time updates. 8. Memory Check Software: - Use third-party memory diagnostic tools like CPU-Z or AIDA64 to get a more detailed view of your system's memory configuration. By following these steps, you can hopefully address the discrepancy in memory speed displayed in Task Manager and ensure accurate reporting of your system's memory specifications.Similar threads
