I don't think so but one can never be sure. I know scam can look very professional, the address they give me to send up the OEM disk is: Microsoft PID Centre Atrium Building, Block B Carmen Hall Road Sandyford Industrial Estate Dublin 18 Ireland and does exits according to Google Maps. But I didn't send-up anything, I don't trust this at tha moment. Meantime I discover a threat on the same topic: Link Removed But it's more on Win XP than WIN7. Anyway is there a scam detecting program for this particular issue? And one last thing, a couple of weeks ago I installed a supplementary intern HD. I remember vaguely that Microsoft has a kind of signature of my PC and that signature changes when changing hardware inside the PC. Is this correct and can it be the cause of the genuine messages? Kind regards

I run following, as noted in the thread:
Recreate the Licensing Store
1) Click Start button.
2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
8) Type: net start sppsvc
9) Type: slui.exe OK, so far
10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically. This did'nt happen !!!

Run MGADiag again, and post the report

The MGADiag software generates a report but gives errors when trying to copy it !

That procedure did not repair the problem in the referenced thread either, but I suppose it might have worked. The original poster in the other thread said he reinstalled the Windows 7 Upgrade, which fixed his problem.

I do not know if he reinstalled by running the Upgrade again, or did a Repair Install by reinstalling from within the OS.

I was trying to compare the reports from the other thread between the other bad one, the other good one, and yours.

I found this which might mean something. The other thread was referencing a Retail version of the software, so some of what you show might be related to that. But I got this from your report.
