I have a Xp Sp3 PC which has shared folders and serves videos to Vista media centre connected to the router. The problem started suddenly. List of videos loads quickly in media centre and then I go and click the video and choose video to play. This is where it takes up to 3-6 minutes to start playing. Funny thing is once it starts playing I can stop and play another file instantly and there is no delay from this point onwards. The rest of the time its pretty much works well. So I think its a vista issue and instal Win 7 and problem is still there. I am trying to figure out if this is a new OS issue or xp or the router?
