BSOD Error during Clean Install of Win7:
Stop: 0x0000000a (0x983ffff0, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x8bc8394b)

System:
HP Pav 525x Desktop
Intel Celeron CPU 2.4GHz
1gb DDR SDRAM PC2100 in (2)512MB Sticks
Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Realtek AC’97 Audio (on board)
Realtek RTL8139/810 Fast Ethernet NIC (on board)
Toshiba DVD ROM SD-M1712

CyberDrv CW078D CD-R/RW
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500
NetGear 108Mbps Wireless PCI Adap WG311T
3.5” Floppy

System is fully functional running XP.

Install Steps:
Clean format of HD prior to install of Win7.
Disconnected all hardware in 2nd list above for first install attempt.
BIOS boot priority #1 for DVD ROM (Win7 install disk).
Insert Win7 Install disk & auto start.
Install proceeds ok.
Select Format HD & Clean Install.
Windows files install, then BSOD with Stop Code referenced above.
Ran memtest at boot (2-pass no prob’s) prior to attempting reinstalls of Win7.
Attempted to install Win7 to alternate HD (same results).

I have attempted installation of Win7 Pro (factory MS disk purchase), and also Win7 Ultimate disk (so likely not install software related …). Attempted multiple installs to this HP Desktop, with formatting of HD to remove the Windows.old files that accumulated.

Results:
I have attempted installing Win7 both with and without hardware listed in 2nd list above with same results BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

I have conflict somewhere, but unsure how to resolve.
Appreciate any assistance to help me work through this.

cybercore, thanks for the reply.

Could you or someone provide me a link related to how I can provide the "crash dumps" from my system (no operational OS, assuming this can be done via CMD Prompts, etc?). Tried looking through stickies in the BSOD Section, but got mislead as what I found related to MidiDump and coping over to Desktop Folder, going to Start & ..., posting CPU-Z spd & memory tabs, etc. (I have no desktop without OS running ...).

thanks,

1. C:\Windows\Minidump --> .dmp files.
2. CPU-Z screnshots taken in memory and SPD tabs.
3. Give link to your RAM sticks with their specs.
