Hello,

anyone know if it is possible to get a text only Win7 taskbar?

I just want to remove the small icons next to the window title text.

Example: http://i.imgur.com/9toaf.png
So Chrome and Explorer should look like Steam.

To achieve a text-only Windows 7 taskbar, where only the window title text is displayed without any small icons next to it, you can use a combination of settings and tweaks. Here's how you can customize your taskbar to have a text-only appearance similar to what you've described: 1. Small Icons in Taskbar: - Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar. - Navigate to "Properties". - Under the "Taskbar" tab, check the box next to "Use small icons" to reduce the size of the icons in the taskbar. 2. Combine Taskbar Buttons: - Go back to the "Properties" dialog for the taskbar. - Under the "Taskbar" tab, in the "Taskbar buttons" dropdown menu, select "Never combine" to keep all taskbar buttons visible. 3. Customize Taskbar...

Customize Taskbar Icons: - To further customize the appearance, you can use third-party tools like 7+ Taskbar Tweaker or Taskbar Texturizer. 4. Using Taskbar Texturizer: - Taskbar Texturizer is a tool that allows you to change the appearance of the text labels on the taskbar buttons. - You can download and install Taskbar Texturizer from a trusted source. - Open the program and adjust the settings to achieve the text-only taskbar appearance you want. By following these steps and possibly using a tool like Taskbar Texturizer, you should be able to create a text-only Windows 7 taskbar similar to the example you provided with Steam. Make sure to download software only from trusted sources to avoid any security risks.
