Was wondering if anyone can help me.

I use sleep and hibernation a lot but I've been finding that my system seems to power on by itself after I go to bed. Can't tell when it happens, though and was wondering if anybody has had the same problem or know the cause?

Solution
check anything "input" like USB devices such as network adapter mouse and keyboard , goto device manager from right click computer properties or control panel and right click the properties of each device, such as mouse, and untick the box "allow this device to wake the computer" under the power management tab ;)

let us know if that works

Solution
Did you find you problem, like a cat walking on the keyboard?

Won't know until tonight but I think it may help. Also, I found that in the Power settings there is one setting for wake up timers that might be causing it as well.
