Solution
To address the message prompt to "remove drives and press any key to reboot" on Windows 10, you can adjust the boot settings to bypass this prompt upon restart. Here's how you can potentially resolve this issue: 1. Change Boot Sequence: - Enter the BIOS/UEFI menu by pressing the key (e.g., F2, F10, Del) during system startup (before Windows loads). - Look for the boot sequence or boot priority settings. - Ensure that the primary boot device is set to the Windows drive (e.g., SSD or HDD where Windows 10 is installed). 2. Fast Boot Option: - Check if there's a "Fast Boot" or "Quick Boot" option in the BIOS settings and enable it. This can help bypass unnecessary prompts during startup. 3. Advanced Boot Options: - Boot into Windows 10. - Open the "Run" dialog by pressing Win + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter. - In the System Configuration window, go to the "Boot" tab. - Make sure the "No GUI boot" option is checked. - Apply the changes and restart your computer. 4. Windows Recovery Environment: - If the issue persists, you can try using the Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE) to troubleshoot boot issues. - Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. - Under "Advanced startup," click on "Restart now." - In the Windows RE environment, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt. - In the Command Prompt, you can run bootrec commands to repair the boot process. By adjusting the boot sequence in the BIOS settings and potentially enabling Fast Boot, you should be able to bypass the message prompt to remove drives and press any key to reboot, allowing for a smoother and quicker startup process without manual intervention.
