I have search forum and my controlpanel for any setting for the most annoying feature ever.

When iam in fullscreen (world of warcraft) and click on stuff, it somehow senses that there is a window behind my current window and i get a circulated arrow icon, if i click again that window behind gets highlighted,
this trows me out of my fullscreen and (gets me killed in World of warcraft).

Any suggestions how to get rid of this feature?

Solution
It sounds like you are experiencing a feature in Windows that activates the click-through functionality, which allows clicks to pass through the active window to the window behind it. This can be particularly frustrating when you are playing games in fullscreen mode like World of Warcraft. To address this issue, you can try the following suggestions:

Disabling Click-Through in Windows:

  1. Focus Assist:
    • Go to Settings > System > Focus Assist.
    • Toggle off "When I'm playing a game" to disable notifications during gaming sessions that might be causing the click-through behavior.
    []Game Mode:
    • Navigate to Settings > Gaming > Game Mode.

    ]Disable Background Apps:
    • In Settings, go to Privacy > Background apps.
    • Turn off background apps that might be causing interference during gameplay.
  2. Notifications:
    • Check Settings > System > Notifications & actions. Disable notifications that can pop up during gameplay.

      Additional Tip:

    • Ensure that your game is running in exclusive fullscreen mode rather than borderless fullscreen mode, as borderless fullscreen can sometimes interact poorly with other windows. By adjusting these settings, you can reduce or eliminate the issue of accidental clicks interacting with windows in the background during your gaming sessions. If the problem persists, please let me know for further assistance!
