Windows 7 Windows 7 Domain sharing with XP Pro

Hi guys I'm new to this forum and I hope i didn't miss a solution to this in a search but...

i see many ways to do this with home groups and such but i cannot use those solutions since this is a Domain network.

I am trying to share a printer attached to a local PC on our domain network. It works for all other windows 7 computers but... if i try to connect to it with a windows XP machine it says i do not have access rights i cannot even connect to the PC under network explorer. but any windows 7 machine can just fine so i know it is sharing properly. any ideas?
