Hello anyone, I'm experiencing a bug with the Windows 7 Image Recovery Tool.
Yesterday I made a backup image of my Maxtor 250GB HDD to an external 1TB USB drive, and today I have to restore it back on the Maxtor disk. When I tried to recover the system from the image I received the message
Searching the web I found this is an issue that pops up when you try to restore the image to a disk whose size is smaller than the original disk size. But this is not my case since I am recovering to the same disk the image comes from!
Any suggestion?

The system image restore failed.
No disk that can be used for recovering the system disk can be found.
