Hello - My failure to find a solution to this problem has led me to post here.
I will try to provide as much information as possible.
My internet is completely shutting down, almost always when I am using a lot of bandwidth (usually when torrents are running, sometimes during typical downloads). I have to reset the adapter and then its fine - till I start the torrent/downloading again then once again, shuts down. I've checked the Events Log to see if I can see anything strange and everytime this seems to happen I see ~
DNS Clients Events
Event 1014
No idea if the Event is related, but it is timed right as it happens. It is most certainly an issue with Windows 7 - And light research has shown others with this problems have nForce Hardware (along with myself). I'm fully updated on all my motherboard drivers with the latest Windows 7 x64 release.
My specs :
Windows 7 64bit OS
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor
NVIDIA Crosshair nForce 590 SLI MCP Chipset
I am not behind a router.
Any help appreciated
