Windows 7 not recognizing overcolock of AMD CPU (SOLVED)

Windows 7 does not recognize Overclocking on the Phenom II x2 550 at 3.4GHz as setup in bios.
Xp recognized the overclocking
It does however recognize the working 4 cores and is faster than XP.

Anyone else experiance this issue?
is there a work around?

Solved!

Well after some tinkering and research . Turns out that the "COOL and QUIET" function in the bios was the culprit.
It seems that even though i didn't install the application, windows 7 throtles back the processor anyway.
Disable cool & quiet and VWALA! CPU is displayed as 3.4GHz again.
YEAHY ME!
