My Windows 7 can not recognize my Logitech speakers, but my sound plays through my computer monitor through an hdmi cable that is hooked up to my graphic card.I have just recently reinstalled windows 7 and I'm wondering that is this because I have not installed the CD that came with my motherboard ,when I first got my computer.

That would be likely if you're using an onboard sound system - the disk which came with the mb is likely to have the drivers for it. Have you checked the device manager in control panel to see if any devices are showing a yellow exclamation mark indicating a problem?

Yes I have checked device manager and there are no yellow exclamation marks.Could this mean I have a different problem than my current one right now which is I need to find my motherboard CD to get my Logitech speakers working.
