R rribbs918 New Member Oct 25, 2009 #1 I tried to install windows 7 pro and came back with an error message saying there was an internal error with com. Does anyboy know what this means and how to fix the problem. I am currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 7100 rc1 evaluation copy.

Saltgrass Excellent Member Microsoft Community Contributor Oct 25, 2009 #2 How are you trying to install? Upgrade or full version of Win 7? You can not normally upgrade from the RC, so you should be doing a custom install. I have not seen another post with that message.
