Hi,

I had just installed the Windows 7 x86 on my laptop Asus X80L and found 2 "Base System Device" errors. Can somebody let me know what type of hardware it mentioned? I have no idea what driver is missing.
Thanks in advance.

1. PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_15171043&REV_12

2. PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_15171043&REV_12

Solution
This link Link Removed worked for me. I downloaded all the Vista drivers (no Win 7 drivers available) for our ASUS X80L and the two missing Base System Device drivers were installed when I installed the Ricoh drivers (Ricoh R5C83x/84x Flash Media Controller Driver).

You'll be lucky to find someone here with your same laptop and same problem but if you google

Base System Device errors

You'll find over 1 million articles. Odds are that some of them have a solution.
