Hi all Windows 7 users,
I am new to this forum but I have already leaned quite a bit by reading most of these threads...WOW this is great and I am glad I have found this place. I am having one issue that I have not been able to solve and I was hoping somebody here has the answer. I just loaded Windows 7 RTM 64 bit on my new Dell computer using the i7 chip and everything seems to work great except the windows back up feature. When I try to set up a back up I keep getting this message:
"The backup application could not start due to an internal error;
The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
0x80070424"
I previously was using Windows 7 32 bit and the back up feature worked perfectly. I don't know what I did wrong or if I did anything wrong during the installation process. Can I re-insert the installation disc again and fix it that way? What do I need to do to fix this issue.
