I've never had problems attaching photos in Outlook Express. Windows Live Mail doesn't let me attach photos as I usually prefer - it makes my photo attachments into a slide show. Today, I was forwarding an email with multiple photos and explanations below each photo. Live Mail took the photos out of the main body and made a slide show without the accompanying explanations.

Is there some way to disable this slide show feature?

To address the issue with Windows Live Mail automatically converting your photo attachments into a slideshow instead of keeping them within the email body along with their explanations, you can try the following steps to potentially disable this feature: 1. Changing Attachment Options: - Open Windows Live Mail. - Go to the "File" menu and select "Options." - In the Options window, navigate to the "Send" tab. - Look for any settings related to photo attachments or slideshows. Manually Embedding Photos: - Instead of attaching photos directly, you can try embedding them within the email body. This way, they are less likely to be converted into a slideshow. - To embed a photo in an email, you can directly copy and paste it into the email composition window. 3. Using Another Email Client: - If the issue persists and is causing significant inconvenience, you might consider using a different email client that better suits your preferences for handling attachments. 4. Seeking Additional Support: - If the above steps do not work or if you need more personalized assistance, you can reach out to Microsoft support for Windows Live Mail for further guidance on this specific issue. By exploring these suggestions, you may be able to prevent Windows Live Mail from converting your photo attachments into a slideshow and maintain the formatting you desire with explanations below each image.
