It seems like you are experiencing issues with Messenger on Windows 7 build 7077 where the application freezes and stops responding, eventually leading to disconnection. This could be due to compatibility issues with the older version of Windows. Here are a few suggestions to try and resolve this issue: 1. Compatibility Mode: Try running Messenger in compatibility mode for a version of Windows that is more recent or closer to the one in which the application was designed to run smoothly. To do this: - Right-click on the Messenger application shortcut or executable file. - Select "Properties." - Go to the "Compatibility" tab. - Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select a compatible Windows...

Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows 7 build 7077 is up to date with the latest updates from Microsoft. Sometimes, updates can resolve compatibility issues with applications. 3. Reinstall Messenger: If the issue persists, try uninstalling Messenger completely and then reinstalling it. This can sometimes fix software glitches that cause freezing and unresponsiveness. 4. Update Messenger: If you are using an older version of Messenger, try updating to the latest version available. Newer versions often come with bug fixes and improvements that can address such issues. 5. Run System File Checker: Use the System File Checker tool to scan and repair corrupt system files that may be affecting the performance of Messenger. - Open Command Prompt as an administrator. - Type the command sfc /scannow and hit Enter. - Wait for the scan to complete and follow any on-screen instructions. Try these steps and see if they help resolve the freezing and disconnection issues you are facing with Messenger on Windows 7 build 7077. If the issue persists, consider upgrading to a more recent version of Windows for better compatibility and performance.
