Hey Guys,
So I'm running Windows 7 Business (real version not hacked not RC) and Windows Media Player 12 is really sucking. I absolutely love music and coincidentally have well over 20,000 songs and WMP is shitting the bed when trying to say shuffle through all of them. This was never a problem in WMP 11 on Vista but now with the upgrade to 7 and WMP 12 its horrible. It can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes for WMP to even load and about 1-2 minutes to load a song. Its not the sound effects as I have already shut that off. If I however load a file of music say 20 songs WMP behaves exactly like it should, quick and simple, no freezes nothing. Just a final not my computer hardware can more than handle WMP as I'm running quad core 2.6 and 8 gigs ram, etc......Should be fine.....but its not.
Please help me!
PS I stream my music from my server over a gigabit LAN.
