my wife bought a new asus laptop with vista and a free upgrade to windows 7. she has since done the ugrade. here's the problem. windows media player says there is no disc loaded when trying to play a dvd. it only says this when playing a dvd that comes from netflix or a dvdr that has a movie from netflix burned on it. my desktop with windows 7 plays them just fine. if i buy or rent the SAME movie somewhere else it plays just fine. any help would be great!!!!!!! thanks

Do you have any software that could compare the DVDs to see if there were differences in the format?

Have you checked the capabilities of the two DVD drives to see if one supports a format the other does not?
