Hi!

I added Windows Subsystem for Linux by Windows software and packages.
I rebooted and tried to execute anything...
I found nothing with Linux subsystem - even Windows Terminal allows not to start WSL tab/window - what normally does...
Can anybody to help me find Windows subsystem for Linux?

Thank you in advance.

If you have WSL installed you would just type wsl from a command prompt or powershell prompt to enter bash

I would recommend installing one of the distros from the Microsoft store then you can launch it with wsl -d "Ubuntu-18.04" to launch Ubuntu 18.04

Bit confusing - in command prompt reports that WSL is not installed. But I installed it and checked if is installed - and Windows features list shows that installed is... where is problem?

Done, now have.
Last Q is to WSL2 - it looks that will be possible to run Linux native applications, means italso GUI based?

That is one of the goals for WSL2, I don't know if it will be supported yet though. WSL 2 is only available in Windows 10 2004. I haven't bothered to upgrade to that version.

I'm planning update in few days, question reason is that.
So, I think this weekend will have update installed, then I'll post it here.
I used Ubuntu distro AKA commonly most used - was it good choice?
