i want to upgrade to windows 10. i got updates in windows 8.1, i downloaded them. after that it says that i have to restart my pc to install the update. if i restart it, it just restarts and doesnt update anything. when i go to control panel, it asks me to restart again. i did 10 tmes but still it shows the same thing. plz help.

Hi,
try running the windows 10 update trouble shooter and then trying again:
Click this link to download and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

If the update still fails to work then you can use the Tech Bench to download the Windows 10 iso:

Remember though, even with the iso you must still first do an upgrade install to qualify for your free windows 10. Once you've upgraded you can always run a clean install at a later date. The activation will be automatic so press skip when prompted.
