Firstly I am glad to find I can switch Messenger off & use Winmail Live as a normal email client with my emails archived on a local drive. I was beginning to think from the write-ups that I might have to use a 3rd party email client instead.

Anyhow, if I select my font size & then apply Stationery as a 2nd step, the font size then shrinks and I have to reselect it.

It's great to hear that you've found a way to use Windows Live Mail as your email client with your emails archived locally. Regarding the font size shrinkage issue you're experiencing when applying stationery after selecting a font size, this is a common problem that can occur due to the formatting settings within the email client. Here are some steps you can try to address the font size shrinking when applying stationery in Windows Live Mail: 1. Set Font Size After Applying Stationery: Instead of setting the font size before applying stationery, try selecting the stationery first and then adjusting the font size. This may help maintain the desired font size without it being overridden by the stationery settings. 2. Edit...

This may help maintain the desired font size without it being overridden by the stationery settings. 2. Edit Stationery Styles: Check if there is a way to edit the stationery styles directly. You may be able to customize the stationery template to include your preferred font size settings. By adjusting the styles within the stationery, you can ensure that the font size remains consistent. 3. Use Plain Text or Simple Formatting: If the font size issue persists, consider using plain text emails or simplifying the formatting. Plain text emails are less likely to interfere with font size settings and should display consistently across different email clients. 4. Update Windows Live Mail: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for Windows Live Mail. Sometimes, software updates include bug fixes and improvements that may address issues like font size changes. By following these steps, you should be able to maintain your chosen font size when applying stationery in Windows Live Mail. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details, and I can offer further assistance.
