- Your web browser hangs or becomes sluggish
- Your computer starts behaving sluggishly or hangs often

You could use a hash program to calculate that files hash and upload it to VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner to see if it's a known malware. This a easy to use hash program. HashMyFiles: Calculate MD5/SHA1/CRC32 hash of files
