Windows 7 Yet again - a sound problem

Since installing Windows 7 on my Lenovo notepad I have had no sound. I get the sound bars jumping in the volume controls and every which way I check it says I have the most up to date driver and it's working properly. It's a Realtek sound High Definition sound device. I tried the the most up to date driver (Vista_R7_226.exe) but the update driver facility wasn't interested.

Any ideas?
