Windows 7 Youtube crashes my browsers...

I'm running windows 7 64-bit on a dell xps 13. Almost everything is great, and I'm impressed with the OS as a whole. My only grudge is that whenever I try to play a movie on youtube, firefox stops responding, and has to be closed. This happens in both IE and firefox. Are there any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Try one of the hundreds of Youtube downloads in the Watercooler and see if you get the same problem. This should isolate whether it is the site or the priogram.
