This latest one today was a 0x3b stop. Typical memory corruption from old drivers.

Visit manufacturer's website and/or maker of you pc's site for all drivers. That's quite a lot you have to do there heh heh.

I never knew all the stuff like that could corrupt my computer so much. Thanks alot for your time, I'll get right on updating.

I'm having alot of problems updating these drivers. It doesn't seem I can get them from Dell and googling hasn't turn up much from what I can see. Any suggestions where I might be able to download these.

Which exact Dell model is it?

Also, open device manager and right click on the card reader. Properties. Details tab. Change the dropdown to say hardware ids. Copy/paste the results below to here.

It's a Dell 1720 inspiron with 64-bit Windows 7. This may not be the right one, I found this one listed under IDE/ ATA/ATAPI controllers listed as Riccoh MMC Host Controller. I didn't see card reader listed but I think thats it although not sure. Thanks for your patience and help.

Sure thing, not a problem,

Yeah, that's likely it since it's from Ricoh.

It's might be difficult to find drivers for 64 bit for that particular machine. This is what I see and Dell only supports 32 bit for it:

Based on that, I would really recommend 32 bit Windows 7 instead.

But ya, install that and see if it updates the date to newer by looking in properties for it, in device manager.

Alright what I did was download the drivers for the Dell M1710 and everything seems to be working alright for future references.
