I'm on my 4th recovery install.
10 - 12 crashes a day 2 days in to the new setup.
all the hardware checks out,
-memtest 86 with 12 passes
-chechdsc
-Prime95, 16 hrs w/ no temp problems etc
the use of driver verifier only produced 1 bsod
& the latest problem is when i try to install win's update ( 47 critical, 12 opt) the system freezes on the reboot at 15 % complete forcing a hard boot & the into safe mode to get a roll back.
as of now I got a pretty good paper weight & not much else:confused:
any help is greatly appreciated

Code:
BugCheck 3B, {c0000005, fffff880028b233b, fffff880067cb7c0, 0}
Probably caused by : eamonm.sys ( eamonm+833b )

Caused by ESet. The real cause though can be your RAM.

GIVE LINK TO A WEB PAGE OR .PDF WITH YOUR RAM SPECS.
GIVE LINK TO A WEB PAGE OR .PDF WITH YOUR MOTHERBOARD.
ENTER BIOS SETUP AND LOAD OPTIMIZED/SETUP DEFAULTS.

1. Uninstall Eset. Temporarily replace it with MSE.

you said:

Hmm ... and what makes you say that?

No, my suggestion is that you update or uninstall whatever software you have with that file.

~~~~~~~~~~
You got Driver Verifier enabled crash dump. I believe I told you to disable it:
me said:
If you have the Driver Verifier enabled -- DISABLE IT.
Not sure why you didn't.
1. DISABLE DRIVER VERIFIER.
Otherwise your crashes will NEVER stop.
Code:
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID:  VERIFIER_ENABLED_VISTA_MINIDUMP
2. Since the verifier blames Realtek Audio, update the driver to the latest (Jan. 2011):
Code:
RTKVHD64.sys Wed Dec 29 22:52:42 2010
RtHDMIVX.sys Thu Sep 24 22:13:24 2009
-> MAKE SURE A L S O TO UPDATE REALTEK ATI HDMI driver.
3. Update Intel AHCI Controller:
Code:
iaStorV.sys  Wed Apr 08 12:57:17 2009
Go to this page using Internet Explorer Link Removed
Let the Intel Driver Update utility install and find the downloads for you.
Rename ubhelper.sys to ubhelper.old.
For the Realtek Audio, install these 2 drivers:
And since you could enable the driver verifier I take it you do know how to disable it, right?
As follows:
To disable Driver Verifier, goto Start Menu -> type -> verifier /reset
Ill rename the ubhelper.sys & verifrier is disabled
You are welcome.
Goto Link Removed - Invalid URL ->> Downloads ->> High Definition Audio Codecs ->> Download and install these two drivers:
1) Link Removed
2) Link Removed
Again not just one of them, but BOTH.
Your Realtek is outdated and was the culprit of your recent crashes:
Code:
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID:  VERIFIER_ENABLED_VISTA_MINIDUMP
DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_IN_FREED_SPECIAL_POOL (d5)
Probably caused by : RTKVHD64.sys
Code:
RTKVHD64.sys Wed Dec 29 22:52:42 2010
RtHDMIVX.sys Thu Sep 24 22:13:24 2009
I checked this early morning and the drivers are both there.
I am so much tired of being over-explanatory, like I have mentioned it several times already. The crashes were caused by the Realtek Audio driver, alright?
There is another Realtek driver in the system loaded alongside called " Link Removed". This HDMI driver is outdated and is very much likely bugging out:
RtHDMIVX.sys Thu Sep 24 22:13:24 2009
This HDMI driver is needed to hear audio in the hdmi-connected monitor speakers. Alright? Since the HDMI driver is outdated, it should be updated.
Realtek >> Downloads >> High Definition Audio ---> These 2 drivers:
Link Removed - Invalid URL
1) Vista, Windows7 Driver (32/64bits) R2.56
2) ATI HDMI Audio Device R2.55
