📎 AI Summary:
The WindowsForum thread discusses a user experiencing frequent BSODs and system hangups after over a year of stable operation, with troubleshooting including driver updates and memory tests. A responder suggests updating the sound driver and removing a potentially related application, Callback File System, which the user denies having installed. Further investigation reveals the presence of the callback driver and recommends checking for malware or other software, such as Jungledisk, that could be causing system instability.

I've been having frequent BSOD's - every 4 hours or so - on my computer that has been running fine for over a year now. I've run memtest and nothing came up there, and I've tried refreshing Windows. I've updated a bunch of drivers as well, but nothing's fixed it. I also have some hangups that don't cause a BSOD - I lose my internet connection and then everything hangs.

Try removing the app you have running called 'Callback File System': Link Removed I've a hunch that this might be the cause of your issue.

I don't have anything installed called 'Callback File System.' I'm updating my audio drivers though, so I'll let you know.

What about Jungledisk? If your still not sure it might be worth running a deep level anti virus scan. Do you use any anti malware software?
