Got to 'All Programs > Accesories', there you will find the 'Snipping Tool' which you can use to take a screenshot. It would be a big help

Try pushing the "Control" and the "+" button simultaneously.

To take a screen shot push the "Print Screen" button then open "Paint" and click on Paste. You can edit and save it from there.
