I have a HP Pavilion dv9930us notebook with the nvidia 8series video card. I installed Windows 7 Home Premium from Windows Vista and everything is working except my video card. I notice its not working because my screen saver says "The screen saver can't run because it requires a newer video card or one that's compatible with Direct3D".

Do you have access to another machine to download the file to. I;ve never seen a corrupt file from nvidia. You could just try downloding it again, to see what happens.
