Is it normal to have a 48% memory usage of 4 GB of RAM with basically IE, xfire, and AV programs running?

Currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Thats hard to say with as little information given. I was using 1.2 GB of 4 GB for a long time. The only time I would see 2 GB used, was after I had become infected with something. Then I start loading more apps and services into memory and started seeing 2 GB memory usage as a norm. I'm currently looking at 2.8 GB (35%) usage of 8 GB.

If you say that is not enough information, then I'd be happy to give you all the information you need to figure this out. I'm currently using 1.82 GB of 4 GB.

Download and run SIW, look at the running processes.
If you still can't make heads or tails out of it.

Right click "Running Processes" and export to a CSV file.
Then upload the CSV file here for us to look at.

I couldn't export the processes to a CSV since I didn't have the SIW Pro. Instead i just took a screenie of the top part of the processes in the Task Manager.

AV programs running?
Programs? As in more than one? I see ad-aware and avast. Avast includes anti-spyware - you don't need Ad-Aware running too. Your screen shot only shows just over half the processes running. What is not shown?

SpeedUpMyPC doesn't - and eats resources while not doing it.

If not using TeamViewer, don't run it
