I did a rollback from my latest Windows Insider build. Afterwards it goes to a black screen after the welcome screen. I can use ctrl/alt/del to get into Task Manager. In there it shows just normal activity. I would think if it was still trying to recover it would show quite a lot of activity. I can also go to log out and the boot menu. I can reboot but it always ends up on the black screen with pointer.

Should I just wait even though it shows no extra activity?

Update: The screen just went off then came back. Maybe it is still updating. Task Manager still shows nothing out of the ordinary. Would updating not show up there?

Update 2: The reason the screen went off is because it always shuts off after a set time. I might think it lost it's display driver but the welcome screen and Task Manager look just fine except for being in a black screen. Except for the black screen it kinda looks like Windows is running.

Ok I reinstalled Windows. It was a clean install so now I have to set it all back up again. So this issue has been solved.
