New member and I'm desperate.Just reformatted my hard drive and now I can't get my e-sata Express Card adapter to work.Strangely,it worked perfectly from time of purchase (plug & play worked perfectly) until reformat.I found what I think is the correct driver (Intel CPU,W7 Home Premium 64bit) on the Silicon Images website but each time I try to install I get a failure message.Anyone willing to try to talk me through it or point me to a website that does? And yes, you're correct to suspect that I know almost nothing about PCs :frown:.Any help would be much appreciated.

Silicon Image seems to say they do not support end users directly. Does the card have a manufacturer you could check? Do you have the model number?

Did you get a CD with the card originally?
