📎 AI Summary:
The original poster reports that their Windows 10 machines display certain dialog backgrounds in a dark grey color after a recent update, making some elements difficult to read, and they are seeking a way to revert to the default color. A subsequent reply references Tapatalk and suggests that if the forum is in dark mode, only admins can change that setting, though it doesn't directly address the Windows display issue. Overall, the thread centers on troubleshooting display coloration problems, with the initial focus on Windows themes and the response deviating to forum display settings, leaving the original issue unresolved.

About a few months ago I think, I started to notice my three Win10 machines the background color of certain dialogs were now a very dark grey. It looks really weird and makes some things harder to see. I guess it happened after a certain update (who knows which one) and as my machines got that update they all started doing this. I've been looking through the theme options and all color personalization options I could find but nothing is really standing out to me of what or where the setting for this is.

I have attached a screenshot of an example.

Switching between dark mode and light mode makes no difference either. How do I change the color back to the proper one instead of this dark hard-to-read grey?

Are you referring to settings in Tapatalk? Someone else asked a similar question yesterday, and if an admin has changed a forum to dark mode, there is no way for non-admins to change that.
